It can take up to 3 weeks from submission of your application to approval and your funds being released, so please ensure you plan this into arranging dates for your exchange.
If your exchange is unable to take place for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible and we can discuss returning or using the fund for a rescheduled date. A rescheduled CLE should take place within three months of receiving your grant.
If you are visiting more than one host, the £300 fee should be divided between each host. Applicants are responsible for paying the host fees and should provide us with evidence of payment after their exchange.
Please include VAT as part of your overall costs- including the host fee. For example, the normal amount for the host fee is £300. If your host is VAT registered, the amount granted would be £360 with an invoice stating that the host is to invoice for £300 plus VAT.
We welcome group exchanges, however we require a lead applicant who applies for the full amount, manages and distributes the finances accordingly and provides the required paperwork including expenses, receipts and group feedback.
